    6TB is lighter than the 5TB product baffles us

    Perhaps thinner head arms, thinner base on chassis and slightly thinner platters so as to fit an extra platter in?

        Extrapolating that out, by the time they get up to about 30TB, the drives will have a negative mass.

        Not sure why you put a joke icon, I would say its a reasonable assumption.

        That amount of Helium I would presume would have an affect on the products weight
