"This deal is further evidence of the quality of Bing "

    Bullshit.

If Bing was really any good and growing, MS would hold on to it and would not be jumping in the sack with tainted has-been brands like AOL.

This looks like two drowning men clutching together as they both sink.

Looks like they are holding on to Bing and its ads marketplace, just selling off the leavings to AOL.

And BING is growing! Look! AOL just got tied into a ten year deal to use it!

Probably about six years longer than AOL will continue to exist as it is.

Perhaps users of aol.com will see a nice picture when they logon? That's about the only good thing about Bing.

Nice to see Reg and commentards keeping up.

    AOL dying?

"On May 12, 2015, Verizon Communications announced plans to buy AOL for $50 per share in a deal valued at $4.4 billion.[5] The acquisition was completed on June 23.[6]"

"The deal will broaden Verizon's advertising sales platforms and increase its video production ability through websites such as The Huffington Post, TechCrunch, and Engadget"

Hardly dead in the water eh?

What they mean is, "I don't like AOL so it must be dying".

I don't like them either, but you'll be surprised at the amount of people that do.
