    That much huh?

Seven grand... somehow doesn't seem a lot for a supposed WMD proliferator.

Hardly worth getting Jack Bauer out of bed for.

    Fines

How come the UK levies fines against wrong doing companies that are pityful when compared with those imposed in the USA?

      Meh

      Re: Fines

PayPal's 2014 annual revenue was $7.9 billion, up 19% year over year.

So not exactly a "huge" fine, more a little tap on the wrists.

I didn't realize that one could buy a nuclear warhead using Paypal... Was this sold on E-Bay because at ~$7,000, it was a bargain. </sarcasm>

      re Ebay special auction.

It gives a new meaning on "6 hrs 4 mins and 20 seconds left to bid on this item".

    Paypal standards:

Nonprofit fundraiser? Shut down, account frozen, interest stolen.

Seller victimized by repeat Ebay fraudster? Funds gone, no appeal.

WMD trafficker barred by the government? SURE, WHY NOT.

    It's always about the money

People will sell their soul for a few bucks. I'd bet that millions of illegal funds are filtered thru PayPal weekly.

    It's the little things

I enjoy the irony of using a pic of inert training grenades in an article about WMD.

Icon for relevance to topic. Or lack there of.

Amazing. The World's Police (TM) place sanctions against individuals for *alleged* wrongdoing. What an amazing justice system they employ.

If it's anything like the UK's Royal Mail

$6,999 of the $7,170 would have been absorbed by the postage and packaging in any event.

Anyone know if the Democrats/Republicans/Nu-Labour/the war mongering Blair have ever received money via Paypal?
