    Bitstamp 'regulates itself'. The registered company address is the one for UK PLC, that company that provides company formation services in the UK. Certainly sounds like a legit setup choice for an brokerage outfit based in Slovenia, so what could possibly have gone wrong?

    The author of the piece is trying to make a name for herself as the anti-champion of Bitcoin and has written many, many, many articles on the subject. I think a book is in the offing. She's greatly loving Bitstamp's problems.
