    One World Government Agency, Yah Right.

    Let's have a UN world government so we won't have to worry about corruption and they all lived happily ever after.

      One world governing body to rule them all;

      one world governing body to find them;

      one world governing body to bring them all

      and in the darkness bind them.

      It's so true that local governments are not corrupted either...

    United Nations

    This situation is only the tip of the iceberg. Graft, Corruption, Lying, Cheating, Theft, Blackmailing, etc are all happening every day at the UN.

    What is the point of having such an agency if they are as bad as what individual countries have to suffer?

    They are completely ineffectual and worse than anyone could imagine.

      UN = scary place. Amazing to see someone who dares to out such a highly placed official.

      It will be interesting to watch the outcome.

    Nice to see equal treatment

    Nice to see whistle-blowers are treated the same everywhere...

    ...as pariahs.

    (no, it's not nice to see. and people wonder what's wrong with the world) :rolleyes:

    For a man in charge to deal with patents, his behavior seems totally compatible with the intellectual properties mafia industries.

    This story is massive....is there going to be a proper investigation? How can they have let gurry run such a frightening campaign against his own staff? What is actually going on, and why has wider media not picked up on this? Very worrying.

    One of the questions of course is if there was a breach of confidentially, conflict of interest did the WIPO administration only realize months after it took place? Makes you wonder about their competence. They would have to have known before the fact that was representing the staff members or did he just appear out of thin air at the proceedings. The WIPO administration would have also participated in the hearings, in presenting their side. So, why didn't they bring up the issues then. So, one can only conclude that it was a set up. Also make you wonder what type of lawyers are working in that place.

    I don't understand

    I was under the impression that anyone and everyone who worked to enforce existing copyright and/or to maximize copyrights term lengths and reach were saintly, pure and divine. Anyone who questioned these perfect individuals was a "freetard" and thus should be stripped naked, bathed in acid, then set on fire.

    Surely this is all a misunderstanding and the head of WIPO is, in fact, currently under assault by a pack of vicious, lying freetards aiming to malign his reputation. It's the only explanation that makes sense...
