    Don't he US Grubbermint have better things to do with their (borrowed) money than interfere with free markets by trying to pick a winner. Like, say, paying off their debt?

    Governments have a piss poor track record of picking winners. Markets are much better at deciding where investments are best made.

    I wouldn't be surprised if you looked into the whos and whats of this and discovered this is just Obama handing out some cash to his some of cronies.
