Make no mistake: the game has changed and if you're not on board the ultra engagement bus, then you'll be yesterday before it's tomorrow. That's the astounding message from a video designed to attract world-weary media types to the Creative Fuel Conference, set to redefine paradigms in Sydney on 28 July. Doubtless corpora …

    Relativistic Bus

    From the video:

"It's like, if you're on a bus moving at the speed of light, then, you have to be, like, ahead of the bus now. You're like, waiting to catch the bus."

But if the bus driver turned on the headlights, would anything happen?

      " ... would anything happen?"

Only if there was anyone outside the bus to observe it happening.

      The bus has a driver?

      Wow, you're like, totally retroid.

I ,for one, welcome our new 3D-printed quad-copter overlords.

      +1

For the correct use of "quad-copter".

      Hold on a moment

The FAA/CAA/NSA/GCHQ/etc will be calling around soon.

If you don't have the requisite licenses for this kit, you are sure to be grounded in a load of red-tape.

I saw one notice in the US recently stating

NO QUADCOPTERS, Drones or other powered flying devices allowed within 10 miles of this facility.

      Penalty fines $50,000-$100,000.

Ironically, the sign was peppered with buckshot.

Perhaps the cloud has already burst on these things?

I for one wont be satisfied until there's an OCTO-copter version of this thing.

How am I supposed to deliver printed death from above with only four copters?

  3. Chris G

    Not sure

I understood any of the MTV style soundbiteblarb but I think a bunch of airhead Aussie corporate admen want to deliver tickets with a techietoy?

I did hear the word vacuous though which pretty much does the job.

The trouble with Ad types is they have a habit of believing the crap hype they spout.

    Pull!

    My airspace, my rules.

More seriously, what does this kind of thing have to do with "creative fuels"?

      "My airspace, my rules."

Ah, go fly a kite -- or rather a stack of them with some nice modern line attatched.

There is always an analogue solution.

Do some Commentards not get the joke?

Some of the comments here are either incredibly deadpan, or they've completely failed to grasp that this video is a joke taking the piss out of the advertising industry. No, it doesn't have anything (directly) to do with creative fields; it's intended to be a bit of humorous viral marketing. I can't believe something so obvious needs pointing out...

Re: Do some Commentards not get the joke?

Thank you. I have become so cynical of terms used in the description I hadn't even watched the video as my "Normal Bullshit" lights were flashing so bright I could see past them.

Man this is no normal bull this is exceptional stuff so advanced it is high fiving itself coming back, and i don't think i have to say how excited I am about it.

Thanks again Credas, I might have missed out watching the video if not for you.

      (that is actaully serious)

I saw this the other day, and had to really concentrate to figure out whether it was a piss-take or not. It's gotten pretty sad that it's so hard to tell these days...

Oh, and "...so advanced it is high fiving itself coming back..." - nice. Borrowing that, if you don't mind... ;)

I was thinking that as I read the comments so far - but then I remembered it's Monday morning, so perhaps people can be excused.
