    fwiw, follows last week's SUSE announcement of the same...

    so now you can get both enterprise linux distributions on Google Compute Engine.

    Why not go for Centos instead?

    since It's a cheaper version of the same thing (Linux).

      While CentOS is essentially the same as RHEL, if everyone went CentOS, Red Hat would go out of business. And then where would CentOS be?

      A long time ago I learned that while I love a bargain, if we make too big of a savings the company I am doing business won't survive. And in the long term that is certainly not to my advantage.
