Thanks for that.
Now, please can we have an analysis of UK porn traffic from 21 November to 2 February?
A lopsided score in last night's Super Bowl kicked off a sudden spike in traffic as users sought alternative methods of entertainment in the later stages of the game. According to adult video site Pornhub, traffic levels in much of the country fluctuated with the outcome of the game, dropping sharply in the early minutes then …
Apparently a record 115 & 1/2 million viewers tuned in for the SB..
as a Seahawk fan I am quite satisfied. Though I do like the Broncos as well. Like most everyone else I did not see that coming. I was astonished how well Seattle played.
Downloaded the Superbowl from my Tivo this mornin, going to strip the commercials and re-encode to h264 for archiving.
So you are going to remove more than 50% of the broadcast to get to the actual thing you want to watch?
Oh well, that goes to show how bad TV has become in the US, the progrmmes are mere interruptions to the endless stream of mindless 'Buy Me' crapverts.
US TV is one thing I really don't miss now that I'm back in Blighty.
However a certain car dealership in S.W Louisiana will forever be ingrained in my mind. The man spoke so fast that even on slo-mo it was quick.
But the rest was just mind numbing. UK advertising is in the main works of art compared to what you have to put up with in the land of the free.
It's important to note that the Superbowl people study the numbers to know exactly where people go when they switch off.
If you can bring a bit of that into the game itself, they are less likely to turn off, and more likely to hang around to watch the sponsors - which is what it's all about really.
Now that they know what that is, I think there is a really good chance they'll invite Janet Jackson to do another "number" again.
