    You have to be joking. They can't supply a decent terrestrial service and they are put in charge of Satellites. Must be the cheapest quote

      Telstra have always said saterlite does not work, who do you want in control?

      Optus already control there own birds and telstra are just out of control.

    According to the NBN Co press releases, $AU620 million is just for building the 2 satellites. Total cost is $AU2beeellion.

    If my maths is correct, that's $AU10,000 per home (and probably excluding the cost of the receiving equipment (dish, receive/transmit iLNB, IP modem) and installation).

    Wow, browsing Facebook and youtube is really expensive these days.
