You can bank on Apple's being around then; Wall Street certainly is.
Market share has gone down because the market has grown so substantially as now almost every phone is technically a smartphone. Apple are selling more phones than ever and building a long term business of loyal customers and making money on the phone and all the media / apps.

(At least Microsoft have other product lines to prop up the dead Windows Phone). One needs a successful product line not based on the drug business. Did you know that smoking has dropped by more than 50% since 1995. Guess what, so has Windows dominance. Some may still use it because of necessity but most that have an option avoid it.

The site is nowhere near Cupertino City Centre (Center for the 'mercans). It is actually about 1.5 miles NE of the city centre. Not that Cupertino city centre has much going for it. Symantec is about the only tech company that can claim to be in the city centre.
