And all I can think of…

… is how funny a blue screen of death would look on that video wall.

Ouch yes, I know, that was low. I'll go now.

Yeah that was gonna my comment, looks terrible like that. But then guess they probably stuck it on the wall and snapped it.

Well, at they are good at support - my experience with a Surface that just stopped charging, whilst working fine as the battery drained away was brilliant.

First, a new charger (sent after clicking through the support website, no human necessary), didn't fix it, obviously something wrong inside the unit. Call MS, get a guy who spends time discussing, sets up a return. I then ask for a new unit immediately rather than after the return, "OK, I'll just do that... Oh, it kinda won't do it because of the other return".

So, calls me back the next day having sorted the issue and a new one is sent with a label for return. Arrives the following morning, old one dropped off at a pickup point locally. New one works and now I have two chargers.

And, the full return wouldn't have needed a human either if I had selected it in the first place.

Not the same experience as with Lenovo although Nokia were pretty good with my son's broken USB charging socket, easily could have been construed as "Physical Damage".

    Talking of CSI

Some obvious Microsoft/Win 8 product placement there of late. In NCIS too IIRC.

I can only guess it will look as ridiculous and dated in a few years as the "MSN Search" "product placement" looks now in "The island".

Whoever setup that video wall needs shooting.

A bit harsh, maybe, but the colours and relative brightness levels are all over the place.

Since the (presumably) walking person is not blurred, it could be a refresh issue, the monitors don't have to sync together and the 'shutter' speed was short perhaps.

Doubtful as they appear to be LCD monitors, also the hardware which controls the video wall would sync all their inputs up, so even if they were rasterised screens, you'd get a distinct line across their whole width at the same point.
