How about
I bought a Hyundai T10 slablet a while back. I went for it for a number of reasons, it was quite fast - 1.6GHz A9 quad core Samsung Exynos 4412 processor, "gb ram, 16Gb storage with a micro SD slot for expansion, all the usual WiFi, GPS etc, but the main reason - GSM/3G connectivity. As a phone, it works just as well as any other droid device. Comes with an earphone/mic jobby, but obviously supports Bluetooth borg implants just the same, and has a HDMI output if for some reason you want to connect it to something bigger.
The battery is 6500mAh, which gives good life.
5Mp camera on the back, 0.3 on the front for webcam use.
Unlike many other slabs, it's metal (aluminium) cased.
Most are shipped with Android ICS installed, though JellyBean was released for them a while ago.
Antutu reports 15580 as it's score, which is a fair bit quicker than the Nexus 7 and 10.
The down side - it comes pre-loaded with lots of Chinese market apps which take a little getting rid of, and by default, it's set to Mandarin out of the box!
The plus side - they sell for around £220 on eBay.
They make a 7-incher, the T7 too.
