    What bad news?

"Of course, only the relentless cynical would associate a minor good news announcement with the bad press surrounding Australian sport at the moment."

Well, that just makes the case for greater exposure ... you obviously missed that the Southern Stars flogged England the Ashes, flogged them in the T20 and flogged everyone in the World Cup. Now, if we can just get the men to play like that ...

Yes, because having 25-50mbps instead of 100mbps means as few as a meagre four simultaneous HTDV channels, which is clearly insufficient.

Mate, if you are getting 25-50mbps you must be livin' next door to Tony.

Bugger the TV, try doing Architecture over the arsehat system we currently have - we only need to have real-time access to 10GB+ databases from laptops on building sites - doesn't matter what your mates have dreamed up, tech experts that Tony & Malcolm so obviously are, but it bet it leaves Austfailia FAR behind the rest of the civilized world when it comes to BIM!

          BIM?

          Bandar Inderah Mahkota?

          Bulgarian Institute of Management?

          Brigade d'Infanterie de Montagne?

          Bahasa Indonesia dan Melayu?

Perhaps you could learn to explain your acronyms before you get shouty at people.

    bah humbug

there's absolutely no justification for public money to be spent on putting more sports on the gogglebox (or gogglepad, I suppose). if the zillion commercial sports channels that exist in Australia aren't showing your sport enough, and if no enthusiastic amateurs have popped up to put it on YouTube or Vimeo, then that's probably a pretty strong sign that no-one cares enough to watch it.
