Vmware Go ? WTF!

Wasn't this the hilarious service who was asking you to fully install a machine with Windows and .Net so they can install VMware hyper-visor on it ? From VMware web site :
Burning a CD or physically going to the machine you want to install to is so 2011. Enter the IP address or machine name and Go Pro does the rest.
200,000 users registered for that ? That's quite a lot of naive persons.

    What's next?

I imagine that comes under "end-user computing" so I imagine it is staying within the VMware fold.

    vmware gone clueless

VMware has gone completely off the rails. All of those random acquisitions over the past few years were just that, random. Remember lab manager? What happened to profile management in view? Remember when they were developing a client hypervisor? How about Clown Foundry? Anyone using that?

    that's a negative ghost rider.

its been a whole lot fail.at VMware, next stop Novell.

LANDesk - Great product, poor management

A lot of mid and upper level managers completely ruin the potential that LANDesk has. The "Red-sweater," club as they are known as they are former Novell Employees, and boastful of that. (Not sure why IMO).

That said, it's a great product, that doesn't require much infrastructure, but poor management execution and limited vision and focus has kept them at the desktop level and out of the datacenter where the real money is.
