On the plus side it means another advertiser to keep ITV4 going during the late evening. On the minus side "under a Gibraltar gaming licence" means the Exchequer won't be seeing any benefit.

    Meh.

    Just another bwin skin.

Zynga are about 7 years late to the poker table anyway; the fad's passed, all the money's been and gone, and you could count on the fingers of one withered hand the number of Facebook users who are going to be interested in downloading a proprietary PC client.

    Don't go there

Gambling is for losers*. Online gambling is for complete schmucks!

I know a statistician who has been barred from five online bookies.

Take my advice, THEY WILL NOT LET YOU WIN!

*it nearly got me killed once, planted h on me and arranged for a game in a country where it's a hanging offence.

Sounds like a good yarn - you could (and should) do a book.

Two years ago 60 Minutes did a bit on online gambling and how honest it is.

Two months later all those online gambling sites you see on t-shirts and hats at tournaments were all shut down because they were all proven corrupt.

There is absolutely no way to verify the integrity of any online gambling site.

      There's one born every minute.

    Prepare for Spam

Remaining users (if there are any) of FarmVille and DrawSomething etc. should prepare for a flood of notifications and pre-play adverts for this "exciting" new opportunity.

Sigh. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

So lots of free advertising on Wikipedia then.

Use the exchanges, that's what I have been doing these past dozen years.

    But James Bond

James Bond wore pants most of the time... and he was a lot in rooms with beds...
