    Nothing new under the Sun?

They already had to ditch to their cars in Hong Kong for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the average sideways view at car roof level on the roads of Hong Kong is straight into the side of a truck, bus, or delivery van. Secondly, there are a hell of a lot of places on Hong Kong island where you can't drive a car. For example Bonham Road is mostly a footpath.

    Cue: The Google Bike ;-)

It was presumably the trike they used to map all the little footpaths round Portmeirion.

(Though they didn't manage to catch Rover on the cameras)

You forgot to mention Snowdon. Base camp of course being Pete's Eats in Llanberis.

    Still missing

They've done some mountains - but they still haven't done a Street View of Venice.

I'm waiting for Google submarine, I'm sure they could get a grant from National Geographic for that endeavor.

Good point - they should have done the Mariana Trench when they had the chance recently !
