    Don't quit your day job.

That was a rather uncreative hack. Some political or philosophical, even artistic, message would have been communicative.

I never get how defacing a website is going to accomplish anything. If you're so upset about corruption, use your "l33t" skills to go and search for the corruption you claim is happening everywhere. Get the proof and then do something useful with it (pass it to the media or prosecution!).

And if you dont have the skills to accomplish any of this, shut your mouth and go learn them and stop wasting your time on ineffectual gestures which arent going to accomplish anything.

    Just ignorance

Hacking is not an acceptable form of protest, it's a crime. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Not what Anonymous would have you believe. Take your statement to it's logical extreme, though, and you have a problem as the people who define what constitutes a crime often include all forms of protest in their definition.

So the people that define a crime are always correct? How about a vote for women? Maybe stop prosecutions for being gay? WTF - 'Just ignorance' is a fine title for your post sir!

    Here we go again...

    Screw Asia, seriously.

I find it unbearable that the moral compas has been pointing towards middle east with pesky excuses to invade and yet everyone "loves" Asia. As long as it suits wallstreet and they play along eyes are closed and ears are shut.

There is a lot more reasons to invade one of those alien countries with alien culture than people who are closer to us culturally and historically.

Sounds like a DNS hijack ..

"the perpetrators managed to change the site’s homepage by redirecting the IP address, .. plans were being discussed to create a back-up server in another country to mitigate the risk of a similar attack in the future".

It sounds like a DNS hijack, if so such a backup wouldn't mitigate the same risk in the future ...
