He's been promoting Goatse email on the cult internet forum Something Awful and the social news site Reddit, and says more than 4,000 people have signed up for a Goatse email invite.
If half of them go on to pay the huge sum of $5, he's got his cash back.
As someone who has handed out many a surprise link to that domain I'm thrilled with the idea in principle but it's the practicalities. Who would I use this domain to converse with? My mother? My business associates?
More importantly, would I trust someone who buys a rectal-related domain with my email?
