    a project without products or customers coat-tails one with some and some. Will anyone notice?

    Does this mean the end of WiMAX

    Whilst the announcement effectively ends the WiMAX Forum's aspirations to be the 4G technology, it does leave the door open for 'fixed' deployments of WiMAX ie. city-wide utility networks.

    Only 5 years ago...

    I was (as a Nokia trainer) offered the choice between teaching/training WiMax or 3G. Even then, it was bleeding obvious WiMax had no future. I chose to train 3G. (Didn't help...still got kicked out...)
