    For too long have I had to suffer while skyping the peasants because their upload speed is ridiculous.

    Yah erm its far better to have no service and no likelyhood of service with plenty of competition for no service from many non service providers than for the government to stump up the cash to help people in areas deemed not to be commercially viable!

    Better Strategy

    There's a much better way of getting BT to install fast Internet into rural areas. Get another company to offer a service there. That get's BT in quick.
