    Paid advertising?

    Could El Reg clarify if this (and the other Sandforce) articles are paid for by the companies or are genuine news articles? Reads like a lot of marketing bs to me.

    I don't know of any Micron/Crucial SSD that uses their own controllers. AFAIK all of their recent products they've used Marvell controllers. Even their recent enterprise drive, the similarly named Micron P400e uses the Marvell 9174...

    Is the P400m really going to have new Micron-owned controller tech? I doubt it. As far as the flash memory itself goes Intel, Sandisk and Samsung also have their own chips.
