          WTF?

          Re: Is there a jury

"In the whole world that would convict him?"

Lets get this straight - he was greedy little man who bought a gadget on the cheap from a bloke hanging around on the street (hello, didn't alarm bells ring at this point?) then gets pissed off when - surprise! - it turns out to be a knock-off. So instead of chalking it up to his own stupidity and learning a lesson he decides he's going to kill the guy but kills someone else instead.

But suuure, I'm sure every jury on the planet would be 100% sympathetic and let him off with a cheerful wave.

          Not.

Yes, well, you could turn this around. If you're hanging around on the street, selling knock-offs and scamming people, one of your victims might come looking for you.

Are you working for low-enforcement by any chance?

I' would let him off with a cheerful wave.

    If only...

... Apple had the forethought to patent stabbing people to death. When you consider the unlimited financial penalty of patent infringement, it would be more of a deterrent then that for murder.

Come on Apple, after all, stabbings are an old and well used method of murder, so you'll be in rich pickings for cases for years!
