    maybe adobe decided to join the "adobe exploit" club and write malicious code that funnels money into their bank accounts?

    Maybe.....

    Adobe's recent announcement that CS6 (due in '2012') needs a minimum of CS5 for upgrading. Anyone running earlier versions like CS4, CS3 and ...er....CS2 will be so out of luck and will have to pay full whack.

    And, funnily enough, they have a 20% discount on the current upgrades until 31/12/11.
