    supercookies sort of fits, but there's
    
    "Long Term Stored Objects" which exist in Adobe's little hideaway area in /Users/$$$$/Library/Preferences/Macromedia on OSX
    
    plus the force-cached use of 1px x 1px png images stored by the browser where an individual RGB colour is chosen as a personally identifying information being assigned by whichever advert tracking mob put it there
    
    oh and use of the HTML5 Canvas tag to read pixels (cookies) back out, storing in web history, HTML5 Session Storage, HTML5 Local Storage, HTML5 Global Storage, and HTML5 Database Storage via SQLite, according to Mr. Kamkar
