    Just to clarify the current and all previous UK governments definition of "repression": guns, rockets, fighter aircraft and anything made by BAe are OK. Software, however, is right out.

      Any illegal spying by <insert name of DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY here> on its own citizens is to protect you and your children from paedos and terrorists, and thus is a tool for freedom and against repression.
