AT&T is Robbing this country's consumers and people in rest of the world for the last 130 years, not by putting a gun to their head, but by pulling 2 copper wires into their homes.
It is high time that we put an end to this criminal organization once and for all and not use any of its' services, which suck anyway.
I am still feeling from the pain of having to pay $1.70 Per Minute for calling my military friends and family abroad and ending up bills exceeding $500 a month during the Year 1999-2000.
Thanks to the VOIP Technology, AT&T cannot rob us for the Long Distance any more, but they are doing that with the Cell Phones now.
Let us all unite and put an end to this criminal.
If it weren't for AT&T and then putting those two cables into your home, rather than paying $1.70 a minute you'd have to go there yourself, and pay a lot more for the privelidge.
Its not just your local operator thats responsible for international rates, but the terminating country's telco.

You forgot to list all the current T-Mob users on the DOJ (not so much Sprint) side. Then again, if Sprint would add a few global GSM phones to their list, that could change quickly.
Man that company is so lost. If T-Mobile gets bought up by ATT, then there will be one less competitor in the "low price" and/or "value" segment, leaving much more room to Sprint to maneuver. ATT and Verizon will raise their prices, and then Sprint's "value" play will be even better differentiated from the two major players.
Or the other way to look at it, is that everyone wants Sprint around, if only to be the disruptor in the market. They keep VZ and ATT honest. Not that anyone would actually want to use Sprint service.
Except do you really think all (or even most) of the T-mo customers will jump over to Sprint? No, AT & "that's no moon" T will eat up most of the T-mo customers, because most consumers are lazy. And I suspect that many of the T-mo customers that do jump, will go to Verizon rather than Sprint. Sure, there will be some that do go to Sprint, but overall it will mean less potential customers for Sprint, while at&t is guaranteed to get a lot more customers.
