      Every time I hear the words "Microsoft" and "security" used in the same sentence, I ready myself for a real belly laugh...

    Some months ago ...

    I noticed that MS's Tech Website search was becoming very, very slow.

    Then odd pop-ups would start appearing (using IE) for gambling and porn sites ... only when using MS's Tech Search. This was in a large commercial bank where only MS and IE were allowed.

    I reckon they must have been poisoned long ago.

    I might want to search there for porn.....

    as in "How do I stop PDF based porn coming in via email" or something similar.

    I dont pretent to be an expert, that's why I'd look these sort of things up.

    So the attack vector is valid.
