      Re: DIRTY BOMB!!!

Provided that it weighed less than a bag of potato chips, you're correct.

How many people can you maim or kill with a 15oz bomb detonated 50ft above ground?

The clue is in the title,,,you don't have to kill or maim anyone, the panic generated by the phrase "Dirty Bomb" will cause Economic and Financial carnage, which is much better.

If you use airborne contaminants like anthrax I'd say thousands if not more.

A reasonable sized quad can probably lift around a KG, you use a hex or octo and set it up for a target you have a pretty good delivery system.

Program the route into a GPS equipped one and you don't even need to sit there flying it.

    What an ass.

This type of irresponsible flying is EXACTLY what's going to ruin it for everyone. This yahoo actually flys his copter over Ranger stadium when people are in there and then says he stayed at high altitude to keep "security off my ass". So he knows there's a line and he deliberately crosses it.

I own a Phantom and I'd never dream of flying in some of the places I see other people going with theirs. I've decided to sell mine while I still can, because outright bans and big fines are coming, thanks to jerks like this who do incredibly stupid stuff and then have the nerve to post it on YouTube like some badge of honor.

I sincerely hope he doesn't get his Phantom back.

So you use yours to take videos of your own garden then?

    It'll come back down...

What with the tornados, supercell storms, etc., that roll through Texas in the summertime it'll come down eventually.

All he has to do is hang around outside the stadium during a thunderstorm and wait for it...

Possible airspace conflict? At about 3:50, the shadow of a small aircraft comes in the lower left. And then the video quickly fades to the baseball stadium.

Oh yeah. The music selection. If you are flying choppers over something, can't we at least have Ride of the Valkyries?

DropBear it's not possible for the system to retrace its flight path to return home, because

    a) while it is GPS enabled (and GPS stabilised) a satellite lock isn't required for it to fly, so it may not have complete path data

    b) to reliably return by retracing its footsteps it would need at least 50% battery remaining.

So the quad copter is stuck on top of Cowboys Stadium?

While you're up there, can you get my frisbee?

    Easy to retrieve

If you play a country music song backwards, you get your truck back, you get your girl back, you get your drone back, and your dog comes back to life.

If he wants it back, he just needs to call the correct person:

    877-547-7272

He then just asks for John and tell him to get the mask ready.
