    These days the fist choose must be HTML based UI even in apps, much that I hate the mess that the "standards" are.

    It's for the developers!

    Well done MSFT for freeing devs from having to maintain multiple sets of code to target Windows, iOS and Android/Chomebook.

      Just burden end users with bloated non native looking apps instead.

      I can spot an xamarin app a mile off, and 9 time out of 10, the app sucks.

      So use it at the risk of losing your users to proper native apps from your rivals....
