Unity is a bad name to steal anyway.

Type in "Unity" into your browser. How many pages did you have to go before you found either EMC's or Nexsan's array?

If anyone has a claim against them using the name it's "Unity3d.com" the Unity game engine has been around for YEARS.

On EMC's part... I'm not even sure why they felt the need to rename the VNX / VNXe line, we'd be perfectly happy with a VNX3. It goes great with the VMAX3 that EMC is finally digging back up and pushing after 3 years of it sitting on the back shelf.

    A company called "AND Gmbh"

... try Googling for them ... that's "and". Someone was asleep in marketing when that one hit the press.

Advanced Network Design Gmbh - http://www.and-solution.com/en/

I'm sure the penny began to drop when they tried to register "and.com". Great FTTP network planning software - crap name.
