    Ahh, compliance measures.

    So much effort to be expended by a company on showing that they are behaving. I should think in some cases, the company's management would rather have been hit with a fine which they could pay and write down and get out of the way.

    Anon as once worked for a company that was taken to task over collusion with the other main company in its sector to if not fix at least to share pricing information on their (commodity) product.

      So there is a problem with that? In particular, if it is a commodity product, barriers to entry should be low so any "upwardly shared" pricing should be undercut soon-ish.

    Why did not the FCC force Network Solutions to "refund" excess partof refund fee.

    Commercial enterprises in the USA - particularly, have no respect for honest business practices and only act legally when "nailed to the wall" with significant fines that are payable immediately, rather than when their objection court cases end in average 3 - 4 year period.
