    They should charge more

We ditched the cable and went to Netflix. Saving about $1,000 a year and using it like crazy. The kids love it. It is worth more, and more selection would be nice.

What they should do is get together with Google to form a bleeping empire. Start putting up hardlines and LTE everywhere. Youtube + Netflix can provide content while Google becomes the advertising king of the next generation. make sure everyone has fat pipes and access to every scrap on content they could ever desire theALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD

No, they should charge Comcast customers $1 more a month to pay Comcast and make all Comcast viewers watch a video explaining why.

It's not like cable companies don't change to an explaAtion channel when they're in a carrage dispute... Oh wait they do.

    Bad News

If (and according to CNET shills) when the Comcast merger is allowed, Netflix, Vudu, Crackle, YouTube, and all the other streaming services will go away. We'll be watching "ComcastFlix" and "AT&TFlix" and paying metered internet billing. We will be even more of a laughing stock to the rest of the world. Technology will stagnate and the internet will look like cable TV does now.

Think this is hyperbole? Look at how AT&T put the DuMont Television Network out of business in the 1950's. Artificial scarcity and price-gouging. It's what monopolists do. If we let the Comcast merger happen, we deserve to become second rate.
