Wham! Bam!

"They've done so, the company says, three times faster than those who use other methods"

Solution in search of a problem

The missus and me just kept trying. Far more fun than playing with a damn computer. Seemed to work fine, and we have proof -- two of them, in fact.

More importantly...

Surely the most useful application of this technology would be for people who want to avoid unwanted pregnancy?

It could tell women when going out clubbing and getting wasted on a Friday night is going to be a reaaallly bad idea...

Re: More importantly...

There are many of these calendar based apps, and sure enough, they can slightly increase your chances of getting pregnant. There are very few that can actually decrease your chances; info on one that's over 99% effective can be had at http://www.cclgb.org.uk/ or the app at

http://www.ccli.org/productsservices/nfp-materials/cycleprogo-charting-software.php .

Re: That's a laugh,

"You won't laugh when the British are extinct, and they declare Sharia law in the UK."

Why do "the British" need to survive? What about their genetics is (more) worth of propagation than that of another group?

As for culture, no empire lasts forever. Even were the whole world to be united under Sharia law some day, eventually that too would pass and humanity would evolve, adapt and move on. Your xenophobia is so small, so petty...it's nonsensical when viewed from a time horizon of centuries, let alone millenia.
