My name all over the reg?

A terrible sign for a sober man to see, especially first thing on a Monday morning.

Pour yourself a stiff brandy - as is the local custom.

Be careful

Vinyl over foam/soft material -> deformation.

SFA is pretty close. We don't think it's going to be an issue in the overall scheme of things - no more so than paint, anyway.

Ooo, I have a bad feeling about this.

I can't help feeling that adding vynyl wrap is going to prove a mistake given the temperature range it has to go through. De-lamination at low temperatures combined with out-gassing at high altitudes could ruin the flight characteristics. But then I am always such a pessimist. I hope it all goes well.

What happened to the REHAB kit?

LOHAN might benefit from another visit, just to make sure there's no air trapped under the vinyl that might cause embarassing tumescence at altitude...

Vic.

Good point, air bubbles would be bad because they would expand a lot. Solution: have the vinyl pricked all over with many tiny perforations, just like a breathable Band-Aid.

You're not fooling anyone ...

... by calling it "vinyl wrap" - it's obviously sticky-back plastic.

Mine's the one with the Blue Peter badge on the lapel...
