I disagree, OpenStack still has some way to go before anyone, including you, can declare it the "industry standard".

Many big technology companies and organisations are hedging their bets right now, choosing to use AWS, Azure and OpenStack all at the same time.

Take NASA, for instance, who use OpenStack as well as AWS and Azure.

Stating that something is the de facto standard only highlights your ongoing ignorance of the field. Had you called it the standard de jour, then you might have been hitting close to the mark.
