    "US democracy activists"

    I'm puzzled. Does"activist" in this context mean "activist investor" as in Carl 'I buy your stuff and sell it for scrap' Icahn? Does this mean "weapons of mass destruction for petrol"? Or perhaps "pacificating Palestine, one bombed village at a time"? "US democracy activists" is such a double-edged swear-word...

    htaccess and robot.txt files

    Knew that always came in handy for annoying useragents from multiple changing ip block allocations (not mentioning any Baidu names there) ... which could be likened to and has the same effect almost as a DOS method of crawling!

      Agreed. These asshats could have fed the money to Lemurs and it would have had a bigger impact on "democracy" in China.
