From the article:
This article strongly criticises Chinese investment in British infrastructure – particularly water.
One of the biggest investors in UK water and other infrastructure is a Chinese billionnaire with close ties to Beijing by the name of Li Ka-shing.
And who is the main shareholder of 3UK?
Yes – you’ve guessed it – a man by the name of Li Ka-shing.
Coincidence?

Coincidence?
Or is it simply that this blog is obviously political and as such has fallen foul of Parental Control policies? One of the comments on the blog helpfully shows how O2 categorises it.
You could take issue with the whole principle of adult content filtering and the seeming lack of redress if a site owner thinks the classification is wrong, but it is a massive leap to go from this to the conclusion that it is all about censoring criticism of the Chinese.
As a for instance, the Conservative Party blog site 'blog.conservatives.com' is similarly flagged for blocking by O2, for it's political theme.

We couldn't have kids getting interested in politics! They might challenge the system!

@Justakos: Whilst I would admit that I find kids that get too interested in politics a little creepy there is nothing in that subject that is inappropriate as such, and if anything looking at this might encourage them to think about what is going on around them. How would this be a bad thing and why should O2 be blocking it?
Re: Satire like Porn? How 3UK are bringing Chinese-style political censorship of web to UK
@Vimes: Actually, I agree with you. The whole area of Parental controls is very problematical. Once you get beyond 'Sex and Violence', the suitability of material for children tends to be a matter of opinion.
It seems to me that O2 are classifying material according to whether or not it is primarily of interest to adults vs children and then applying that classification in the filtering, even though it may not be corrupting at all.
It's a bloody big mess even at this level of application - the government is lucky that it has decided to pull back from making it mandatory.

I for one find it ironically amusing that O2 is blocking political sites as part of its Parental Controls policy; given the continuous sistence by the Government to gain ever more access to our (digital) lives. As well as the likelihood that the O2 policy was almost certainly engendered by populist political posturing by our pathetic politicians (see what I did there? ;)
Yup, they are every bit as corrupting as them darned Pr0n sites (lol).
