    Samsung is worried about Apple getting their hands on the details of the technology where Apple's lawyers will discover that it infringes on their patents for anything cool that could be used on mobile phones/tablets/shiny things...

      Samsung is worried about Apple getting their hands on the details of the technology, patenting it as their own, and then suing Samsung for IP infringement.

    I don't know what's involved here but if software patents are anything to go by it could be that the secrets are only secrets to lawyers and judges and pretending the bleeding obvious is something amazing and 'protecting it' to prevent your competitors screwing two things together could be a new trend.
