Its name alone could be enough to suggest the origins of Lollipop Chainsaw. It's a title that somehow immediately resonates with Suda51’s Grasshopper Manufacture Inc, whether you knew it was one of its titles or not. Lollipop Chainsaw Bright squeeze With his studio already responsible for the "out there" experiences that are …
It's good to see an empowered female role model in games at last.
Re: Right on!
Female role models
Well I have a 14 year old sulk monster and she occasionally plays games - she has to have the female character - her favourite is Elena
I'm outraged....porn porn attacks!? Or maybe that's just my browser font
That is the one where you show the zombie 14yo boys a suggestively titled download progress bar and they are too busy eagerly waiting for it to finish to fend off your attacks.
Zombies, a cute blonde cheerleader, and chainsaw action? AND with Toni Basil's "Mickey"!?! This will be a top-ten game.
Maybe, maybe not.
See also Sucker Punch. I really, really tried to like that film...
Lesbian Vampire Killers any day my friend! Only for James Corden though, hilarious!
Re: Sucker Punch
Go on then - how many people first saw that and thought Infamous
Re: Sucker Punch
Not me. I've never played Infamous but I did enjoy Sucker Punch.
I also saw the phrase 'PC alligators' in the review but I think my attention was directed somewhere other than the copy.
When is this out for the PC?
I can't wait! Zombie killing chainsaw fun here I come!
Paris, because she was awesome in that movie House of Wax where she got killed about 1000 times.
Can't wait for the Reg's top ten soft porn site round-up.
What utter shite. This makes Duke Nuke Em Forever look cool.
> decision to have her expose her knickers at every opportunity
She's wearing knickers? Not worth playing then.
Or can we expect a patch to resolve that issue?
Bugger games, I'm getting the four star n oil out and chopping stuff down for real tomorrow.
You kids muck about with your consoles, the real thing is much more fun and strangely cheaper in the long run. There's nothing like the feel of sap mixed with chippings dripping down your legs and the taste of petrol fumes in your nostrils to get the blood boiling.
You might get a callous on your trigger finger, I might chop off my hand if I make a mistake.
Each to their own, I suppose.
PS If I impress the wife enough, she might get the cheerleader kit out 8)
Re: mmm chainsaws
Ohh yess, chainsaws...
I own two of the buggers (and have a LANTRA ticket to use 'em).
Interestingly, a couple of months back, I went from cutting up a rather awkward windblow in the morning to setting up a Zoneminder box late in the afternoon, both legitimate duties as part of my current job, I expect to be busy again with the saws in a couple of months time.
On Monday, I've a Stihl saw to sort out, a DAW machine to commision and a CAM design to finish.
some days I do love vague job descriptions..beats straight 18 hour shifts in front of a bunch of screens.
Had it since release day - pre-ordered it based on the premise alone.
I found it a bit short, but there's definitely replay value. I really wish that they had included the Japanese voice packs as well as the English dub... I'd really dig hearing Eri Kitamura as Juliet.
The wife liked it as well, even though she just watches me play. If she was a bit more of a gamer I could see her actually having a go, but she's not. Oh wells.
Paris, mostly because there's no chainsaw icon.
She looks like my girlfriend
The one in the "Roundhouse flick" image on page 3, that is. The one on the left.
...are mainly vexed about it being console-only...
