Feathered Tyrannosaurus uncovered in China

H'mmmmmmmmmmm
Feathery dinosaurs: a ten-meter, 1½ ton distant relative of Tyrannosaurus Rex called Yutyrannus huali.
That reminds me; I must call my mother.
Re: H'mmmmmmmmmmm
Lucky you - I showed this article to my mother-in-law, and she complained that she's not *really* that heavy/fat.
Re: Yutyrannus, me Jane.
Q: Yutyrannus huali?
A: Ali man who box in 60s.
OK
I get that it probably didn't fly, but hypethetically, imagine for one moment that it did. And it pooped on your car. I shudder to consider all of the ramifications
Re: OK
Thank for that. I just had a nasty vision of one hanging off the tin bird feeder thing full of peanuts that dangles from my verandah roof.
Probably wouldn't need the binoculars to identify it from the sofa though......
Re: OK
Not-so-little birdy in the sky, why did you do that in my eye?
Fluffy carnivores...
Obviously advantageous. The prey keeps on repeating things like, "Aww, how cute!" right up to the moment it's throat gets ripped out.
Oh my, not that eeevo-lution again!
Darn it, I'd better study the good book a bit harder!
Now that's what I call ...
> a ten-meter, 1½ ton distant relative of Tyrannosaurus Rex
... an Angry Bird
Re: Now that's what I call ...
I'd be angry too...imagine being related to the awesome T-rex, only to find you're covered in cute feathers. Awww....
Re: Now that's what I call ...
It would however make for an epic version of Sesame Street.
At last!
Archeologists have discovered the mortal remains of the cast of the first production of Priscilla, Queen of The Desert!
2000AD -anyone with a good memory
Did "Flesh!" have hairy dinosaurs, or did I invent that childhood memory?
Re: 2000AD -anyone with a good memory
I think it did. There's a new series of Flesh running in the prog right now.
Bah!
These ridiculous dinosaurs were the reason the terrible lizards died out.
The herbivores laughed themselves to death and the rest starved as a result.
