    suppliers didn't bother to supply details?

    Actually we did, carefully and fully. They just didn't get transcribed, and there is no mechanism for correction. We got a "your email is important to us" response when we tried.

    Right now it is a nice "spike", but not fit for purpose, and has no published plans to be more than something whipped up in a few weeks. Which is a pity as I think the intentions are good, and it wouldn't take much investment to make it really useful.

    It may be another "big boys did it and ran away" problem. Plus ca change...

    "Ferrar ran the technology office in charge of NHS IT infrastructure"

    Which is a nice way of saying that Ferrar worked on the National Programme for IT at Connecting for Health. You may have heard of it.

    I'm not entirely sure why we should believe his views on IT delivery this time around.
