    But isn't this what Meg would say if she *WAS* selling it ?

    See: Leo devalued HP's PC business by making a premature anounciculation. If Meg wants to do some "damage control" before finding a buyer that's the first thing she would leak in media.

    If she was selling it

    Who knows what Meg is thinking? She is probably kept fully occupied choosing the interior decor for the revamp of HP's fleet of airplanes, never mind worrying about pesky things like whether HP should hold on to a core part of its business.
