Without having read the study, I notice a lot of facebook plugins embedded into blogs, news sites, etc. as logins / ads. and so on. Do they count all these as requests to facebook too?

Did any news org actually check the UKOM numbers?

If you want to right your article based on facts it might be a good idea to go and check the UKOM data yourselves.

You'll find that whilst FB have just under 28m UU a month, Microsoft sites have just under 30m.

Of course if you want to switch the story around you could exclude sites like Xbox.com and Microsoft.com and only look at MSN, WL and Bing, that would put FB ahead, but what would be the rational for that?
