spam to email given to friendster
I gave friendster a unique email address that I never used anywhere else. I have a personal domain name so I can create as many email addresses as I like, although have it setup to receive email to email@example.com is becoming an increasingly bad idea due to the flood of spam.
I havn't signed in to friendster in years, I got one yearly reminding me of a friends birthday, which was useless because he gave them a false date. A few months ago I started getting spam to the address I gave friendster. I always use TLS encryption for email so I doubt it's been sniffed in transit, I don't check email on public computers, I run antivirus software and browse porn inside virtual machines away from my email but I can't be completely certain that the spammers got that email address from friendster.
