I did make a comment on this about a year ago

Saying that they are idiots to bring in a new system when their old system worked. Accenture were expensive but at least it was working. An update to 2008 servers, I understand they were still using SQL Server 2000 would have been a more prudent move. Lets see how they will mop this up, 3 failures in 2 weeks no good!! If you include the Milan failure 4 in 2 weeks.

That would be true, but the Accenture system wasn't working: MillenniumIT is suffering from integration issues - that is 3rd party data in an unexpected format. These should have been caught in integration testing, but they didn't bring the system to a halt. The Accenture system *stopped* completely on two separate days of heavy trading - the very days when traders have the most to lose or gain.
