Every US president has his photo moment: JFK's was the Cuban Missile Crisis, Reagan's the Berlin Wall, and Bush II the unfortunate Mission Accomplished. Or was it the Katrina flyover? The White House's latest resident has chosen a moment with Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg, whose company is busy Hoovering-up the …
Obama couldn't send a surrogate or is he out of assistants?
Talk about a wasted trip.
All Zucker what not knows is how to steal someone else's business. He's barely out of diapers.
As for the rest, what bright ideas did they come up with to warrant Obama burning all that fuel, and the cost for such a futile trip?
Uncle Sam does Winston Smith proudly .....
"The White House releasing of a photo of the leaders of the tech heartily cheering a closet Muslim, socialist, Nazi, Kenyan Democratic president will likely serve new fodder to Beck and related pinheads, that the White House isn't just working with Google on a big-brother conspiracy to invade our thoughts and lives. It's working with the whole tech sector."
That sounds like an XXXXStreamly Good Beta Idea, and with the right Master Pilots at ProgramMING Controls, can it even have every chance of Storming Success in Cloud Phormations.
Meanwhile, in Big Society Toyboy Town, are the children in pathetic fundamental disagreement on how to even get elected to do something novel ..... like displaying popular supported leadership in the playground. Who voted for theses cuckoos in the nest anyway. Were they not not voted into office?
BB Message to No 10 ......... Grow Up, or Move On.
Surely Beck isn't so crazy as to use 'ferment' when he should have used 'foment'. That would be crazy.
Surely it's surprising that a certain Mr. Ballmer wasn't present? Even more curious than the presence of Bartz. Microsoft's PR machine really missed the ball on this one. Maybe they could hire Gordo's PR flak, she must have nothing to do now.
Seems to me Obama is telling Zuck: "Beat it kid, the grown-ups are talking now."
Foment - ferment. Slip of the brain, now corrected.
What the hell is this?
Is this not an article better suited for Politico?
Seriously, one could go off early on a Saturday when all I was wondering was what they may have talked about, you know, the IT angle.
What an ass. As in you, the author, for just exposing your political views covered as a news article. Not newsworthy IMO.
On a side note: I just got my birth certificate replaced(1) by the state of Ohio. Did it online, cost $21.50, and got here a week later. Why can't your man do the same? He's already shown he doesn't mind spending OPM(2) with complete abandon.
Good Day Sir!
(1) ex-wife had a bonfire, paperwork etc as fuel. Lovely person.
(2) other people's money.
You can't spell "birther" without "IT"
"On a side note: I just got my birth certificate replaced(1) by the state of Ohio. Did it online, cost $21.50, and got here a week later. Why can't your man do the same?"
Duh. Because he's not from Ohio.
However, he did get his birth certificate, the same way you did, from the state where he was born. You can Alta Vista for it and everything, like all the cool kids do these days, to avoid the Soros Rays emanating from teh Goog.
Getter lvl70 Druid, OMG you're a birther.
And you happily admit it in public,
So, you think that the President of the United States should get a replacement birth certificate just to satisfy you and the few remaining delusional fuckwits brave enough to utter your gibberish in public.
Please realise that your ranting is an embarrassment to your whole country and the POTUS isn't going to justify it by playing along.
The IT angle was in the participants-
Where's Your IT angle? Beck radio waves?
Not dear in the headlights, rabbit in the headlights.
Not dear in the headlights, rabbit in the headlights.
I voted for the guy, and to be fair, he is less of an ass-hat than any president since Clinton...
but.. WTF? He is talking with industry incumbents that neutered network neutrality about how we can have more innovation?
And Fortune 500 companies don't "create jobs", they create slaves while crushing small businesses that do innovate, pay taxes, and create jobs.
Facebook is valued a 52X revenue! 52 times! Its not an innovative company! It is the next .cot pump-and-dump bubble that will start hemoraging cash the second it goes IPO, and Goldman Sachs will sell it to every union pension fund while simultaneously shorting it for their friends!
The only way these companies are innovative is that they keep finding innovative news ways to make money for themselves while ripping off the country, consolidating power, and eroding privacy, while passing strongly IP laws to prevent start-ups from bringing real products to market!
Plastic cutlery for everyone at that table!
Unfortunately it is looking very likely that Steve Jobs will not be around for a awful lot longer.. so it looks to me like President Obama has taken the opportunity to visit before he goes. 24-hour news , politics and Corporate affairs being what it is, you can’t just jump on a plane.. there had to be another trip.
In the cold world of politics, you don’t get photographed with folks who are dying outside of hospitals.. the photos tell me that Obama knows what Beck will say, and is ignoring it.
It was good while it lasted ...... so long, America.
Err ... does anyone else look at that photo ..... http://regmedia.co.uk/2011/02/18/obama_silicon_valley_dinner.jpg ..... and think "The Last Supper"?
letters, no digits
