Iranian authorities claim to have arrested suspects over the murder of a nuclear scientist in the country last Monday. Motorcylists placed bombs on the windows of cars as the targets of the attack were driving to work, in two identical but separate attacks last Monday. Each device was detonated seconds later leaving little …
Not going to comment on this one
To much chance of being shot by one side or the other
"placed bombs on the windows of cars"
Oh hell did you have to mention the 'w' word in an article related to stuxnet? Wait for the onslaught of commentards stating that Windows should never be used to control anything.
That'll be Mossad then,
Or the Saudis, or Jordan, or some British holidaymakers, or ......
Glad I'm not an Iranian Nukular* Boffin.
*Yes, I know.
While correlation != causation...
when it comes to disrupting Iranian nuclear facilities, Israel ~= causation.
I don't need no stinken title!
Give it a couple of weeks and you'll be able to read which western intelligence agency is behind these attacks on Wikileaks
Sabotage, messie assassination... This strangely remind me of the movie Munich. I feel sorry for the victims.
Israel has denied responsibility
Anon. No shit.
WHO BELIEVES THEM ANYWAY
It could be that the motorcyclists were actually iranian guard people who decided to target 2 people who would not be lost and that killing them would give them a chance to say "this is why we are building weapons".
Will we ever know who was responsible - I doubt it

@Adrian Griffiths 1:
The guy that died was a senior Guards officer, as well as a scientist. He was also a very significant figure in his field of expertise, and not someone that could be easily replaced. So I can't see why Iran would sacrifice a highly specialised and ideologically committed scientist for propaganda reasons.
After seeing several high-ranked officers and scientists running off to the US, I wouldn't be so sure about that. Ever since Nobel, scientists are sometimes touchy when it comes to creating weapons, and those might have been the cases here. In which case, killing them would achieve two goals: stopping the dissent they might have started to spread AND getting another excuse for weapon program, by blaming the West (or Israel).
Of course, this could also be done by internal opposition, aided by said West...
kevlar Vest... just in case.
Canadian Artillery/supercannon expert killed in a hotel, while designing a monster cannon for Iraq, Iraqi-destined reactors blown up in France, fast attack boats "kidnapped" from the french builder's dockyard, driven directly to that certain coast south of LXXXXXXX. An enemy weapons trader suffocated in a hotel in the Gulf.
These are Europeans (essentially) fighting for the survival of their state. I have zero doubt they have a team of people who speak persian better than the average persian. Who know more about the persian tribe they claim to be from than the average tribe member.
Or maybe they claim to be afghanis who are "doing trade" in Tehran. Maybe trading Austrian precision rifles for the ability to access the Iranian territory. Those rifles being used by tribes in Iraq to hit the bastard-Europeans who conquered that country recently.
If they only applied that level of skill to the official government I am sure they would be on friendly terms with the people in their immediate vicinity. But stealing land will only fuel this fire indefinitely.
Disclaimer: This is all pure fantasy and my sources are otherwise all public. Only the first paragraph is factual, based on (publicly available) books by the people who did it.
The Iranians will get the perps confess to anything they want.
