Buy everything you can get your hands on then re-release it exclusively on a platform you control. Where have I heard this before?

Understandable concern bye Linux users
Google is built on Linux from the very beginning so I find it understandable that Google is expected to "pay back" a bit faster to the community behind Linux and to the community of Linux users.
There is an other interesting thing with Google versus Linux.
There is this "discussion" about the number of Linux users on the desktop, and Google could provide more reliable statistics, I think, than anybody, else, but they will not, as far as I understand.
