Bah

Fuck, I was hoping it was Ballmer :/

This might explain why he's hunting for the aliens - advanced meds ftw.

Sorry to hear that...

I think that the survival rate for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma is a bit higher than what the article states. There are a couple of different types of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and if caught early enough, very treatable.

Hope he pulls through.

I've seen too many people die from the Big C (I've also seen a lot of people cured lately, so things are looking up).

PA's a bit of a hero of mine, mostly for this reason:

if it had been Ballmer...

...he would have been rushed to hospital suffering from a growth of healthy cells...

Good luck to Mr. Allen. Seems like he has the positive mental attitude which will serve him well in fighting this.

Low Dose Naltrexone and Cancer

Hopefully someone with his wealth and influence knows about Low Dose Naltrexone - It's a cheap out of patent drug which 100,000+ people worldwide are taking for auto-immune diseases, cancers and even HIV/AIDs. Sounds too good to be true but it's worth looking into.

Disclaimer - I make no money from LDN, I'm a Crohn's patient and member of the pressure group LDN Now who had to go private to get LDN since my GP refused it.

I'd urge anyone with these kinds of conditions, or who knows anyone with them to read up on it.

There is a UK Number 10 and a Scottish Parliament petition on making LDN more widely available on the NHS (The old patent/big Pharma issue is what's holding it back just now - not enough clinical evidence, but no financial incentive to do the trials == catch 22).

(Black helicopter because it sometimes seems like there is a conspiracy to keep this drug from being well known and commonly offered).

As an Apple user..

I pass on my sincere best wishes to PA in this; never forget the power of positive attitude.

Some call it faith, others call it character or willpower. Whatever the name, it helps, and I hope for the best.

Chin up this is a fight you can win

I know exactly how he and his family feel, I have been there but as bobkt says LDN is something you should look at and it works for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma

I found LDN on the internet thank god it works. My wife was given 2 to 6 months to live 14 months ago with Lung Cancer NSCLC. LDN costs us 1.5 euro a day because doctors don't know about LDN this could have cost my wife's life. It has shrunk 2 of the tumours to almost nothing and by Christmas she will be cancer free. it has been a long fight starting with Chemo which didn't work and then Cyberknife and LDN. We set up a database to track people on LDN at www.ldndatabase.com now we need our governments to look after us and trial the drug
